I paid them a visit in late November (just before Thanksgiving) to have an infected ingrown toenail removed for $250. I don't have health insurance, so I paid the full cost. The doctor (Dr. Hamilton) put a chemical in to keep the cuticle from regrowing and said it would have only like a 1:1,000,000 (really minimal chance) chance that it would regrow. He also perscribed me an antibiotic (which did work). It began to heal, but suddenly in early January, the infection returned and I had to go back. I guess my body rejected the small amount of chemical and the cuticle had grown back. So when I went back the same doctor went ahead and removed the whole root and put a whole lot more of that same chemical in the area where the cuticle was. The second time around he perscribed the same antibiotic, but gave a refill, therefore giving me twice the amount of it. Again, the antibiotic worked. They only charged me $75 for the second visit. I am now in the process of healing and have had little or no trouble since then. Both times the doctors and nurses were really nice and both times the doctor made absolute sure that my toe was fully numb before doing the procedure. I experienced no pain at all during the procedure both times he did it. And the procedure only took about 10 minutes both times. I'll give them 5 stars since it wasn't the doctor's fault that my body rejected the chemical the first time.
