This location is so unpleasant. I think the architects were drunk while planning out this building. Did they even think to make this place a warm one that one could enjoy?
Even if the service is good (which it is really not) and the food is good (which sucks I might add), the sickness of this restaurant's atmosphere just ruins everything.
Why go to a store just for the product? Don't smiles and good food matter anymore? There are millions of options out there. There is over a dozen Subway stores in the whole Kern County. All in all, my going to this store was a waste of time and money.
Now, one might be wondering, "What does Subway serve?" Subway is kind of like what the title is: they serve subs, or submarine sandwiches as a food doctor may call it.
They also serve soft drinks, although I have never understood why they are called soft drinks. Every 8 ounces of liquid is packed with calories, so I wouldn't call them "soft drinks."
*Laughs anyone? No? Well, I guess I can't impress everyone..."*
But as I was saying, they serve soft drinks on the side. Bags of chips are available at this store, but they aren't very healthy to begin with. Cheap, junk chips like "Doritos" or "Cheetos" are packed with solids, making it hard to diet here.
You see, Subway Corp. advertises on dieting with eating their sandwiches. All in all, I can say that this is true, dieting with Subway is a smart choice. It's just the types of chips at some of their stores like this one that bug me. Why can't they have different kinds of crisps like pretzels or naturally-made chips?
Now, I am not saying that all Subways serve these unhealthy chips. In fact, types vary depending on store. Nonetheless, if you decide to go to this store, you might want to skip the chips. They don't taste that good.
So chips, drinks, and subs; that's it. Unfortunately there is no drive-thru, that would have made things easier. I have been to other Subways where there were pick-up windows. If one is in a hurry, which is what we would expect of any quick-service restaurant, this place in particular is not recommended.
I conclude this review with the following: this store is not recommended to anyone, including those on the go. The service is bad, the food is bad, and the location is bad. Bad bad and more bad. Darn!

I can hardly believe I am the first person to review this BUSY sandwich shop! And a super good one it is at that! I have had some great hot treats from this location. I am a fan of the Tariyaki Chicken with sweet Onion,,uuummmmm good!! and last time, just for a change of pace, I had a hot Meatball with a lot of great goodies inside...That was also real tasty! They have ME hooked....My Wife also Loves their hot treats...I think this place is far better than many others of/from the same chain.. Maybe the servers care more? You be the judge...Try it, I think you will love it also. You really get your monies worth!
