Record stores are dying, and I'm happy to report that World Records is still around in a new location (G Street between 18th and 19th). The new location is smaller, but they still have the best service in town. If you aren't a big fan of shopping online (like me), or if you don't like going to big corporate stores where they don't even bother to learn your name (like me), go to World Records. I've been shopping with them since I was 14 years old, and there are many other loyal customers in town who won't go anywhere else.
I'm really excited about the new downtown location! Everyone in town can get there (no more excuses from you people on the east side who say that World Records is too far away). As a downtown resident, I will be making more visits.
